Johnkennedy Chudi Chime

Johnkennedy Chudi Chime is a multi-disciplinary professional with expertise spanning economics, finance, public policy, strategy, quality assurance, monitoring & evaluation, and information security management systems. With over 30 years of experience in both the public and private sectors, he brings a wealth of knowledge in strategic planning, administration, human capital development, and international cooperation.

A native of Enugu State, Nigeria, Mr. Chime holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Economics, an MBA in Finance from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and is currently completing a Ph.D. in Public Policy and Strategic Studies at the University of Abuja (2022-2025). He is a Certified Management Consultant/Trainer, a Certified Quality Management System (ISO 9001) Auditor, and an Information Security Management System (ISO 27001) Auditor. Additionally, he has undergone extensive training in monitoring and evaluation to enhance his strategic and analytical capabilities.

Public Sector Leadership & International Consulting Experience

Mr. Chime’s public sector leadership spans key positions in strategic policy formulation, human resource management, and international relations. From 2009 to 2010, he served as Technical Assistant to the Managing Director of the Nigerian Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF), Nigeria’s social security agency. Between 2014 and 2017, he was Chief of Staff to the Director General of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Nigeria’s Information Technology Agency, where he also led International Cooperation and Inter-Agency Relations.

Beyond his government roles, Mr. Chime has served as a national consultant to the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). He has successfully led consulting teams that supported multiple Federal Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) in capacity building, strategic planning, ISO 9001 and 27001 certifications, and human resource development.
